Block and Orchard Design

 17-19 May 2019

Wondering where to start and what to do?

Stay with us, eating the produce from and using the systems while we  brainstorm ideas for your own orchard and lifestyle block plan.

See over 200 named fruit, nut and berry plants in a mature, productive orchard.
See the long-term results of different pruning and pest management strategies.
Discuss and see various understoreys, and understorey and grass management.

Discuss systems for the housing and management of livestock.
See different types of fencing and their pros and cons
See our version of pig shelters, chook houses, milking shed, hay barns, stock yards, animals pens.

Discuss shelter and firewood production and wetland management and conservation areas.

Compare various tools and learn tool maintenance

And most importantly - devise a plan to suit your own needs and situation.
